IBO Player is one of the most popular IPTV players thanks to its clean interface, smooth playback, and support for multiple playlists. This guide walks you through installing IBO Player on every major device.

What is IBO Player?

IBO Player is a premium IPTV player that supports M3U URLs and Xtream Codes API. It offers an electronic programme guide (EPG), catch-up TV, VOD support, and a user-friendly remote-friendly interface. You can use it with any IPTV subscription that provides playlist credentials.

Install on Firestick (Amazon Fire TV)

  1. Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options.
  2. Turn on Apps from Unknown Sources.
  3. Go back to the home screen and search for the Downloader app. Install it.
  4. Open Downloader and enter the official IBO Player APK URL provided by your IPTV service.
  5. Download and install the APK. Open IBO Player and enter your login credentials.

Install on Samsung Smart TV

  1. Press the Smart Hub button on your remote.
  2. Go to Apps and search for "IBO Player".
  3. If it is not in the Samsung App Store, download the Tizen file from your provider and install via USB or use the IP Smarters app as an alternative.
  4. Once installed, open the app and enter your Xtream Codes or M3U link.

Install on Android TV & Android Devices

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your device.
  2. Search for "IBO Player". If it is not listed, download the APK from a trusted source.
  3. Install and open IBO Player. Accept the permissions.
  4. Enter your IPTV subscription details and start streaming.

Install on iPhone & iPad (iOS)

  1. Open the App Store and search for "IBO Player".
  2. Download the official app (it may require a one-time purchase).
  3. Open the app and tap Add Playlist.
  4. Enter the playlist URL or Xtream Codes provided by your IPTV service.

Activation Tips

After installing, you will need your IPTV provider’s username, password, and server URL. Some providers offer automatic activation via a one-click link. If you experience a black screen, check that your playlist is correctly formatted or contact support for a fresh set of credentials.
